Terms & conditions
TEMPLATE: must be reviewed before going live This text is a starting point, not legal advice. Have it checked by a lawyer, fill in every highlighted value in config.js, then delete this yellow box.
1. Who we are
These terms apply to all purchases from the online shop https://TODO_DOMAIN, operated by TODO_COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME, TODO_ADDRESS, enterprise number TODO_KBO_BCE_NUMBER, VAT TODO_VAT_NUMBER, email TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL (“we”, “us”).
Our shop is aimed at consumers. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence.
2. Products
We describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Small differences in colour or finish can occur because of screen settings or because pieces are finished individually. Such minor differences are not a defect.
3. Prices
All prices are in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is free worldwide. For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, local taxes and customs fees may be charged by the destination country; these are not included in our price and are paid by the recipient (see our shipping information).
When we show a price reduction, the crossed-out price is the lowest price we charged for that product during the 30 days before the reduction.
Discount codes (for example the launch discount for people on our waitlist) can be used once per person, only within the period stated with the code, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise.
4. How the contract is concluded
- You choose a product and option on our website and click “Buy now”.
- You are taken to the secure checkout page of our payment provider Stripe, where you enter your details and see the total price before you pay.
- By clicking the payment button on that page, you place a binding order with an obligation to pay.
- The contract is concluded once your payment has been confirmed. You receive a confirmation and receipt by email.
The contract is concluded in English. We store your order details; you receive them by email.
5. Payment
Payment is made in advance through Stripe, using one of the payment methods offered on the checkout page. Your payment is charged when you place the order. We never receive your full card details.
6. Delivery
We ship worldwide. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. The usual delivery times per region are listed on our shipping page; they are estimates. Unless agreed otherwise, we deliver no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. If we cannot deliver within that time, you may cancel the order and we refund you without delay.
The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you designate (other than the carrier), receive the parcel.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving it, without giving any reason. How this works, including the model withdrawal form, is explained on our returns & withdrawal page.
8. Legal guarantee
All products come with the statutory legal guarantee of conformity of two years from delivery (articles 1649bis and following of the Belgian Civil Code, implementing EU Directive 2019/771). If a product is defective or does not match its description, contact us at TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL within two months after discovering the problem. We will repair or replace it or, if that is not possible, give you a price reduction or a refund. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by accidents, misuse or not following the care instructions are not covered.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of your order, except in case of intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, and except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. Personal data
We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
11. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first at TODO_SUPPORT_EMAIL and we will look for a solution together. If that fails, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (www.mediationconsommateur.be) or, if you live elsewhere in the EU, the European Consumer Centre in your country.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you live.
12. Changes
We may change these terms in the future. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the website at the moment you placed it.
